Work in dozens of miles of construction zones along the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which has affected traffic for six years, may soon be completed, media outlets reported.

The stretches of highway involved run between mile markers 85 and 94, and between mile markers 109 and 122.

Joe Brimmeier, executive director of the Turnpike, is expected to announce the completion Nov. 12, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. Both projects were projected for completion in 2005
