Joey and Vicky Holiday of Truck It Records & Entertainment are hosting the Tennessee Truck Show May 7-8 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds off I-65 at Exit 81 in Nashville, TN.
The two-day event includes a live concert, a benefit auction, show trucks, racecars, vendors, food and giveaways. Woody and Paula Chambers will be there with OOIDA’s Spirit of the American Trucker tour truck.
The event’s official dates and times are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 7, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 8, but drivers and vendors can arrive as early as 8 a.m. Thursday. Free lunch vouchers, courtesy of Averitt Express, will be given to the first 500 CDL holders to arrive. The café will be open Thursday through Saturday for truck show visitors and vendors.
The concert, sponsored by Roll-Tite, is slated for 4-7 p.m. Friday and features Joey Holiday, Red Simpson, the Lister Brothers, Clue of the Honky Tones, Mustang Sally and emcee Dave Nemo. The concert will include a special tribute to members of the Trucking Music Hall of Fame.
The auction, scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, and the truck show will benefit Trucker Buddy International. Some auction items include a PocketMail Composer, a Mike Ryan No. 77 Freightliner collector’s race truck, a J.J. Keller model truck set, Koolatron Kool Kaddy P75 cooler/warmer, Bridgestone R280 Premium steer tires, Firestone FS590 Plus Premium steer tires, a commemorative Ship By Truck die cast truck with a set of Ship By Truck mud flaps donated by Firestone, the Turbo 3000D, two EA Sports 500 race tickets at Talladega Superspeedway, a Bone Creeper donated by Penray and a Road King Magazine Poster signed by LeeAnn Rimes and her dad, Wilbur Rimes, donated by Bill Hudgins.
