Expediters Online.com announces that legendary trucking singer/songwriter Joey Holiday will perform at the Expedite Expo 2004, Aug. 11-12 at the Detroiter Travel Center in Woodhaven, MI. Holiday, an OOIDA member, is featured in July's Land Line Magazine.
“Joey Holiday is one of a select few entertainers to specialize in music for and about the professional driver, and we’re thrilled to have him at this, the 4th Annual Expedite Expo,” Lawrence McCord, the Expo's show manager, says. “We've seen Joey perform at a number of events in the past, and he never fails to give a great show.
“We've tried to have Joey at the Expo in the past, but this is the first year that his busy schedule has permitted him to join us."
The Expedite Expo 2004 is North America's only expediting-specific trucking show. The free-admission event features expedited carrier recruiters, seminars and workshops about the expediting business, expedited truck dealers and manufacturers, the Expediter Pride truck beauty show, aftermarket vendors and a special guest appearance by trucking radio legend Dave Nemo.
This event is made possible by the kind sponsorship of OOIDA, Freightliner of Knoxville, FedEx Custom Critical, Big Rig Owner Magazine, Espar Of Michigan and Tri-State Expedited Service.
