Kit Hammond will step down as president of Great Dane Trailers, the company announced recently.

Jim Pines, executive vice president, will assume the day-to-day administrative operations of the trailer maker and oversee manufacturing operations. Chris Adkins will assume the sales operations portion of Hammond's responsibilities, and continue in his duties as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Hammond will remain on the company’s Board of Directors and will take an active role in customer relations.
