Law-enforcement officials think a serial killer is stalking women who spend time at truck stops. And they think the person responsible may drive a truck.
The case involved as many as 10 murder victims in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi, The Associated Press reported. Most of the victims were prostitutes, and many were dumped nude in rural areas after being killed. Some of the women were known to frequent truck stops.
The first of the victims was found in July; the most recent was found Jan. 31. Several of the bodies were found near interstate highways.
