The West Virginia Turnpike is getting more electronic message signs to alert drivers of accidents and other road hazards, according to The Associated Press.
In addition the existing 12 signs along the turnpike, the state parkways, Economic Development and Tourism Authority plans to install the additional signs in the southbound lanes between mile marker 76 at Tunnel Hill and mile marker 36 at Ghent, a stretch of the turnpike used by more than 15 million vehicles a year.
