The 22nd annual Rotella SuperRigs Truck Beauty Contest will be held June 24-26 at the Bosselman Travel Plaza in Grand Island, NE. Last year, about 100 contestants from the U.S. and Canada participated in the event, which was held in Lodi, OH.

Participants compete for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes, while 12 lucky truckers will be selected to appear on the 2005 Rotella SuperRigs calendar. In all, 18 working trucks will receive awards for Best of Show, Tractor, Tractor/Trailer Combination and Classic categories. A panel of celebrity judges will score the rigs on exterior appearance, design, detail/finish, originality and workmanship. Judging takes about 20 minutes and contestants do not need to be present to win.

The contest is free to all participants. Every entrant will receive a gift package. Entrants can register upon arrival and enter the judging line whenever they are ready. Contest hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, June 24 and 25; and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 26.

The Bosselman Travel Plaza is located off I-80 at Exit 312 North in central Nebraska.
