The state of Alabama recently determined that the International Registration Plan fees collected on behalf of the Idaho were calculated incorrectly. Consequently, says Alabama’s Department of Revenue, Alabama is rebilling based on the registration fee adjustment.

The department is asking that payment be made by certified check, cashier’s check or money order and they want the money pronto. If you get a notice, the money will be due in 30 days.
