Illinois senators are considering a resolution that asks the U.S. Congress to “investigate and determine why the cost of motor fuel is so high and climbing.”

The resolution, SR102, sponsored by Sen. Adeline Jay Geo-Karis, R-Zion, was approved by the Senate Transportation Committee 10-0 March 31. It is now before the full Senate.
