Kenworth Truck Company announced this week that it is extending a successful rebate program with the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) through 2004.

Originally introduced two years ago, the program offers a $1,000 rebate to OOIDA members on qualifying purchases of new Kenworth trucks with 72-inch or larger sleepers. Buyers must show their OOIDA membership card to their Kenworth dealer at time of purchase.

"Owner-operators like Kenworth's premium sleeper offerings and especially have a very high degree of admiration, appreciation and respect for the trucker's truck - Kenworth's W900L traditional, long-nose conventional," said Gary L. Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for sales and marketing. "We're glad to work closely with OOIDA - the industry's premier owner-operator association -- to extend this rebate.
