SB0164, which would require trucks that have been rebuilt, modified, or retrofitted as dump trucks to be titled and registered as dump trucks, has died for this year in Florida.

The bill would have prevented the owner of a commercial motor vehicle from getting a title if its gross vehicle weight has been changed.
