Right-lane bill stalls in Alabama

A bill in Alabama that would have required tractor-trailers to remain in the right lane or lanes of some parts of the state’s interstates is still in committee as the Legislature’s sessions drew to a close.

SB390 is still before the Commerce, Transportation and Utilities Committee. The bill would have set the fine for either offense at $150 for the first offense and $300 for any subsequent offense.
