Shelton, WA, trucker Michael Ryckman died Jan. 13 after a falling load of plywood pinned him against his truck, The Associated Press reported.

The trucker, who worked for NorWest Express in Tacoma, WA, was standing near a forklift at New London pier when the load slid off, The Day of New London reported.

Officials at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, where Ryckman was taken, told the newspaper the trucker died at the facility of multiple traumas.
