Truckdriver Jesse Johnson Jr., 37, of Von Ormy, TX, died Feb. 7 at the Truckstops of America location in Gary, IN, after being struck by a tractor-trailer leaving the parking lot, The San Antonio Express-News reported Feb. 9.

Johnson, who was team driving with his brother, George, was walking between a fuel aisle and the parking area when a trucker leaving the pumping area turned left and hit him. The newspaper reported that he died instantly. The brothers were hauling motor parts from Laredo, TX, to Detroit.
