The National Safety Council has announced its 2003 fleet safety awards, based on 2002 performance. In the over-the-road truck division, here are those companies whose accident-to-miles-driven ratios earned them top honors
The Fleet Contest Division Leader Award is a competitive award program designed to promote safe driving. The program provides recognition to those fleets with the lowest rate of preventable accidents per 1 million miles driven within their industry division, category and group during a full calendar year (Jan. 1 through Dec. 31).
