The Michigan transportation department is scheduled to close a section of westbound I-94 near Detroit on Saturday. Westbound I-94 will be closed from I-696 in St. Clair Shores to M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) in Detroit. The closure begins at 6 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m. The posted detour follows westbound I-696, southbound M-3 and westbound I-94.
