An Arizona trucker was reported missing by his wife Wednesday, Nov. 27. OOIDA member Ulyss J. Putman, 54, of Apache Junction, AZ, was driving a white 2000 Pete 379 coventional with Arizona license AA19730, pulling an empty 1997 Dorsey flatbed trailer.
Naomi Putman last heard from her husband Saturday, Nov. 23, when he called from a Clinton, OK, truckstop. He had spent the night in his truck after delivering a load in Clinton the previous night. He was scheduled to pick up a load in Malvern, AR, Monday morning, but planned to stop off in Oklahoma City and possibly Poteau, OK, to visit family.
His family hasn't heard from him since, and he never made his pickup in Malvern. His wife has called in a report to the local police.
Anyone who sees Putman's white Peterbilt, painted with his company name, Putman's Leasing, should call the local police.
