The Midnight Trucking Radio Network (MTRN) Nov. 2 was awarded Best News/Talk/Call-In Show at the 44th annual Press Club Katie Awards, in Dallas.

Eric Harley and Joe Kelley, hosts of MTRN, were selected from thousands of entries from radio stations airing across five states - Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. "This news/talk approach to trucking radio has really taken off," said Bob Shomper, operations manager of WBAP 820 AM, the network's flagship station. "This award confirms that we are providing 'the best' product to the trucking industry."

Hosts Joe Kelley and Eric Harley expressed gratitude to the listeners of MTRN. "Our trucking audience makes the show very interactive as we strive to maintain a topical and informative radio broadcast," said Kelley.
