Diesel prices per gallon stayed stable in most regions of the country. The national U.S. average price-per-gallon last week was $1.302 compared to $1.305 this week.

In California there was a slight decrease from $1.426 last week to $1.419 this week; in the Lower Atlantic states prices rose from $1.263 last week to $1.271; in the Rocky Mountain region prices rose from $1.356 to $1.361; and prices rose in the East Coast from $1.307 to $1.313.

In New England, prices were $1.393 this week and $1.391 last week; in the Midwest prices were $1.283 this week and $1.281 last week; and in the Gulf Coast prices were $1.275 this week and $1.271 last week.
