Trucker Buddy International, a nonprofit organization that matches professional drivers who correspond by mail with elementary classrooms, has announced that many of the program's sponsors have renewed their commitments for the New Year.

Platinum level sponsor DCSTrucks.com has renewed its affiliation, joining TransCore and ProTrucker/Over The Road Magazines as Platinum Level sponsors.

Delphi and The Midnight Trucking Radio Network have renewed their Gold Level commitments to the program. TruckDriver.com has increased its sponsorship from a Silver Level donor to Gold Level.

Other Trucker Buddy Gold Level contributors include the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, Mike Ryan Motorsports, Truckin' Bozo Radio Network and TMI-MultiMedia. Silver Level donors include ArvinMeritor, Detroit Diesel, J. J. Keller and Associates, Kenworth, TCA and Wal-Mart.

"By providing financial and other services to our organization, we can help the transportation industry by bringing a personal mentor to these students," Ellen Voie, TBI executive director, said. "More sponsors are always in demand to expand our program and reach new drivers for the classes waiting to be part of the program."
