Road crews will shut down westbound Interstate 94 this weekend near Detroit for road and bridge repair. The closure will run from I-696 in St. Clair Shores to I-96 in Detroit.

The stretch of highway will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. In conjunction, the ramp from eastbound I-696 to westbound I-94 will be closed, as well as entrance ramps to westbound I-94 within the closure limits. The posted detour is westbound I-696, to southbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue), to southbound I-75, to westbound I-96, to westbound I-94.
