International Class 8 tractors are now available with Air-Weigh on-board truck scales as a factory-installed option. The scales are pre-installed at the Waycon International New Truck Processing Center in Chatham, Ontario. The center, International's largest Class 8 truck manufacturing plant, prepares vehicles prior to delivery to dealers and customers.

Air-Weigh scales are designed to monitor the actual on-the-ground weight of the entire vehicle to ensure the load doesn't exceed a legal GVW and that the load is legally distributed over the axles.
