The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association's Business Services department is alerting its members that beginning this month, New Mexico tax ID permit letters will include an expiration date. Until now, all letters sent out this year haven't included an expiration date. All permits issued this year expire Dec. 31, 2001. Renewals will only be sent to current account holders.

Account holders should have the 2002 permit by Dec. 1. If you haven't received it by then contact the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division at (505) 827-0392.
