Midnight Cowboy Trucking Radio Network expands into satellite radio

Midnight Cowboy Trucking Radio Network is expanding its network by joining forces with Sirius Satellite Radio and ABC Broadcasting to the 24-hour trucker channel over Sirius' nationwide satellite radio network.

The Midnight Cowboy Radio Network, hosted by Eric Harley, will debut on Sirius later this year with entertainment-based features as well as segments on industry news, efficiency and productivity, new product information and more.

The Midnight Trucking Radio Network is owned and operated by the ABC Radio Division of Walt Disney Co. Broadcasting to truckers for more than 32 years, the Midnight Cowboy Radio Network informs and entertains nightly with host Eric Harley, an 18-year broadcast veteran.

Sirius broadcasts up to 100 radio channels to motorists throughout the continental United States for a monthly subscription fee.

Sirius-ready radios, tuner modules and adapters that allow any vehicle radio to receive Sirius also has alliances to install AM/FM/SAT radios in Freightliner and Sterling heavy trucks, as well as Ford, Chrysler, BMW, Mercedes, Mazda, Jaguar and Volvo vehicles.
