A tornado that touched down in Merrillville, IN, last Saturday afternoon overturned tractor-trailers and damaged shops. Two people suffered minor injuries during the storm.

The winds flipped semis at a shopping center and whipped away one side of a Kohl's department store, collapsing an inside wall. Another tornado touched down Saturday evening in Racine County, WI, destroying a barn. No injuries were reported.
