All diesel drag racing comes to Ohio

The Quaker City Raceway in Salem, OH, is the site for this year's All Diesel Drags on Saturday, Aug. 18. The race is open to all diesel powered vehicles.

Quaker City Raceway is an IHRA sanctioned quarter mile drag strip. It holds 3,500 seats at the starting line with a total capacity of more than 8,000. The raceway offers a full service concession and clean restrooms.

Racing fees are $25 or $20 for DDRA (Diesel Drag Racing Association) members. Admission is $15 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12. Kids 5 years or younger are free.

The gate opens at 10 a.m., time runs are from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and elimination is at 2:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by The Minimizer and the Diesel Drag Racing Association.
