The 2001 Voluntary Diesel Emissions Reduction Workshop is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18 at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. The workshop will address diesel emissions technologies and opportunities with representatives of major trucking fleets and the tour bus industry in the southwest United States. Truckstop representatives also will be attending.

Panelists speaking about auxiliary power units include Rex Greer of Pony Pack Inc., John Vaughn of Rig Master Power and other unconfirmed guests. Panelists discussing engine modifications include Lori Rosenthal of Cummins Engine Co., Bill Gouse of Freightliner and other unconfirmed guests. Panelists addressing truckstop electrification include David Everhart of IdleAir Technologies and other unconfirmed guests.
