The St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund announced this week that 4 State Trucks in Joplin, Mo., has launched a month-long fundraiser to benefit the St. Christopher Fund.

4 State Trucks has been providing quality new and used parts for the heavy-duty truck industry since 1979. During the month of July, the 4 State Trucks customers will see a banner on the website allowing them to add a donation to their order. Walk-in customers will also have the opportunity to give to the cause.

During July, customers are invited to add $1 to their invoice for the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund. Also, 4 State Trucks will be matching every customer donation dollar for dollar for the entire month. Owner Bryan Martin and 4 State Trucks have been supporters and contributors of the SCF for many years.

The SCF helps truck drivers and their families who have financial needs due to current medical problems.

“This is one small way we can ‘give back’ to the trucking industry. We personally know customers of ours that St. Christopher has truly helped and by pulling together we can do more than we can individually,” Martin said. “We are very proud to be a small part of something big.”

Shannon Currier, director of philanthropy and development for the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, said the fund is excited to expand a long-time partnership with 4 State Trucks with this campaign.

“This is such a creative way to support professional drivers, and it allows 4 State Trucks’ customers to be a part of giving back as well. We greatly appreciate the generosity,” Currier said.

The promotion runs through July 31.
