A bad week ended on a good note for a truck driver from Oregon.
Douglas Wayne Age, who had his semi-truck and dog stolen on Friday, Oct. 28, recovered both before the weekend was over.
According to KATU, Age’s semi-truck was stolen on Friday in Vancouver, Wash., while his dog, Apache, was in the sleeper cab.
An Oregon deputy sheriff spotted Apache walking along a county road on Saturday. The deputy brought Apache to the Multnomah County Animal Service. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page posted video of Age’s reunion with Apache here.
For additional good news, Age’s semi-truck, which is a green 1991 Peterbilt, was recovered on Sunday, Oct. 30, in Portland, Ore.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office in Vancouver did not return calls as to whether or not any arrests had been made in the case.
