Truck driver killed in explosion on Missouri farm

A truck driver, who was delivering a liquid based cattle feed product, was killed on Friday, Oct. 21, in an explosion at a farm near Kingdom City, Mo.

Stephen Fink, 45, of Macon, Mo., was found dead amid the rubble, the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

According to the news release, the feed product was being unloaded from the semi-truck into another large storage-type farm container. The explosion occurred during the unloading process. A cause for the explosion hasn’t been determined. However, investigators said that there is no evidence of foul play.

In addition to Fink, a second person was injured in the explosion. Authorities declined to release the name of the second victim at this time.
