ChampTruck and Gateway Motorsports will sponsor a big rig racing summer event on Saturday, June 11, at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Ill.
You can purchase tickets at the track on the day of the event. No advance ticket sales for this day. Tickets are $10 per person, per day and $15 for a two-day event. Kids under 15 years of age with a paid adult are always free (limit is three).
The event will honor Women In Trucking Association, which will have a booth. Robyn Mitchell, writer of the Mother Trucker series, will be there, too. The series is about a female race truck driver.
The non-judged beauty contest is open to everyone, but show producers say they’ll only have room for 50 trucks.
After Madison, the next ChampTruck World Series event is at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., on July 30.
The defending champion of the series is OOIDA Member Mike “88-Mike” Morgan of Wartrace, Tenn.
