TANDEM THOUGHTS: Is the FMCSA really listening?

The FMCSA and FRA have three public listening sessions planned about a potential sleep apnea testing mandate. The point is to hear the views from the people a regulation would affect, such as truck drivers and railroad workers. However, none of the locations have truck parking on site. Staff writer Mark Schremmer says the unnecessary inconvenience for truck drivers makes one wonder if the FMCSA really wants to listen.
