The Pork Chop Diaries: On the scene at MATS

| Thursday, March 31, 2016

The Pork Chop Diaries are your all-access pass to everything at the Mid-America Trucking Show. The award-winning blog (find it on the Land Line website) is brought to you by the OOIDA media team.

The blog features everything from the events, to the people, to the shiny trucks, to the new products and equipment, the entertainment and, of course, the food. After all, we named the blog after the show’s famous poke-chop sammich.

Be sure to check back often. Our media team will be live blogging on the fly, and you won't want to miss a thing. This year, our bloggers are Managing Editor Jami Jones, Associate Editor Greg Grisolano, Staff Writer Mark Schremmer, and our OOIDA Member and freelance field editor Suzanne Stempinski.

What’s happening in the show truck parking lot? Suzanne tunes in. In fact, she’s all over it. Any good panel discussions? As part of a panel on Thursday morning at the Mid-America Trucking Show to discuss a lack of parking spots for truck drivers, OOIDA Director of Regulatory Affairs Scott Grenerth said the issue involves more than a need for spaces alone. Be sure to see Mark’s blog.

Check out the Pork Chop Diaries on Facebook for even more photos and videos from the scene.

Following the show, we'll return to our regularly scheduled blog programming.
