Convoy rolls in Joplin for Special Olympics' fundraiser

Truckers really came through for the Special Olympics at the Guilty by Association Truck show in Joplin, Mo., last week.

A record-breaking 370 trucks took part in the convoy and raised more than $120,000 for Special Olympics. Special Olympics Development Director Robin Anderson was overwhelmed by the support.

The Guilty by Association Truck show is produced and managed by 4 State Truck Sales, home of the Chrome Shop Mafia. The event gets bigger every year, but the organizers of the family-friendly get together don’t take themselves too seriously. One of the events this year was a tractor pull featuring kids in pedal cars.
