Back to school: CARB offers more free classes on compliance

While August brings a new semester for many students, it may also bring an opportunity to save potential emissions fine money in California.

The California Air Resources Board continues to offer free diesel compliance courses for truck owners, drivers, dispatchers and others in the transportation industry.

To address Diesel Particulate Filter operation and maintenance, CARB will host Course 511.2 from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 25, in San Diego. For more information and to register for Course 511.2, click here.

For a general review of how to comply with CARB Diesel Regulations, CARB is hosting Course 520 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 26, in San Diego. For more information and to register for Course 520, click here. Course 520 is also being offered in Spanish Aug. 26 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. in San Diego.
