There may not be pork shop sandwiches, weddings or truck beauty competitions at an upcoming conference, but it may still be worth adding to your calendar.
Truck owners responsible for compliance with multiple California emissions rules will have an opportunity to get all the latest information in one setting and with individualized assistance.
The California Air Resources Board is hosting a one-day conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Los Angeles. The conference will include one-on-one compliance assistance, as well as truck and trailer rule updates, funding updates, an enforcement inspection demonstration, and vendor displays.
The event, which is being billed as the “Diesel Truck Regulation Information Session and Conference,” will be at the Los Angeles Trade Tech College located at 400 W. Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles. The event will occur at the campus’s south tent on the 23rd Street side of Los Angeles Trade Tech College.
To sign up to attend, CARB asks truck owners and other industry professionals to call 916-322-3937 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Karen Caesar, CARB spokeswoman, said the air quality agency has held events targeting in-state companies previously but is reaching out to a national audience to publicize the Feb. 24 conference.
