A suspect is sought by authorities in connection with the shooting of a FedEx delivery driver on Thursday, Dec. 18, in Memphis, Tenn.

The driver is listed in stable condition Friday after being shot in the lower part of his body with a high-powered rifle.

WMC-TV reports it happened south of the Memphis International Airport when the truck was stopped at an intersection in the industrial area of Capleville. Witnesses say a man got out of his minivan and fired one shot at the truck.

Police didn’t immediately know why the trucker was shot, but they have a good description of the suspect and his vehicle. The subject is a black man around 35 years old in a Dallas Cowboys jacket. The vehicle being sought is a silver 2002 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with the tag number TN 633-YKY.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
