There’s still time to get a wristband or key chain to benefit truckers. TravelCenters of America, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers, launched its annual Band Together for the St. Christopher Fund campaign on Aug. 1. According to Donna Kennedy, executive director of the St. Christopher fund, the campaign, originally scheduled to run at all TA and Petro locations through Aug. 31, has been extended to Sept. 14.

Commemorative blue/green 2014 wristbands have been given to everyone who chooses to donate. Key chains are available this year as well. During the event, guests and employees at TA and Petro Stopping Centers are invited to make donations of $1 (wristband) or $5 (key chain).

Donations may be made at all company restaurants, travel stores, fuel buildings and truck service facilities. One hundred percent of all donations will go to the SCF.

The TA and Petro annual campaign contributions mark the largest single donations the St. Christopher Fund receives every year.
