Waupun Truck-n-Show on the calendar for Aug. 8-9

The 25th Chrome Anniversary Waupun Truck-n-Show is scheduled for Aug. 8-9 in Waupun, Wis.

In addition to many spectacular trucks to feast your eyes on, this year’s show will include parades, contests, demonstrations, vendors, kids’ activities, nightly entertainment and more.

On Friday festivities will include a chicken barbeque, Pioneer Driver Awards Program, Special Olympic parade and auction, and Lights of the Night convoy parade. Saving Savannah and Bella Cain will be providing live music entertainment.

On Saturday, Aug. 9, showgoers can experience a slow truck race, the motorcycle ride and parade, a pancake breakfast, exhibitor displays, plus much more. More than 300 trophies will awarded later that evening. Music acts for Saturday include Bad Habitz, Georgia Overdrive and Saving Savannah.

One hundred percent of the registration fees for the motorcycle ride and parade will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Money raised from the auctions for placement in the Lights of the Night parade will go to the Special Olympics.

Admission is free. Camping will be available on the grounds.
