Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has opened a liquefied natural gas fueling station in El Paso, Texas. The public station will allow heavy-duty LNG trucks to fuel up along the I-10 corridor.

As part of Clean Energy’s America’s Natural Gas Highway project, the station is along the transcontinental I-10 between Los Angeles and Houston. America’s Natural Gas Highway is a network of natural gas fueling stations for trucks on interstate highways. According to a press release, many of the stations are located at Pilot Flying J Travel Centers.

Additionally, Chavez Trucking has signed a multi-year fueling agreement with Clean Energy. The deal allows Clean Energy to open a public-access fueling station in West Sacramento, Calif. Chavez Trucking plans to deploy 15,000 heavy-duty LNG trucks to haul such loads as road-building and construction materials.
