TRACER ALERT: Truck stolen in South Carolina

OOIDA’s TRACER website reports the theft of a tractor trailer from a hotel in Florida.

A 2000 tan Peterbilt 379 truck and 2001 Arnes step deck trailer were reported stolen on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from a Days Inn lot at Highway 27 and Interstate 24 in Davenport, Fla. The truck is tan with maroon fenders and has “Green Tree Transportation” on the side in black letters, and OOIDA stickers on the truck.

The trailer is black and 52 feet long with a Manitoba, Canada registration plate. TRACER lists an Illinois license plate of P804214 and a VIN number of 1XP5D69X4YD520086 for the truck, and a VIN number of 2A91252241A003472 and plate number SR4494 for the trailer.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of this item. Call 202-246-2698.
