TRACER ALERT: Truck and trailer stolen in separate incidents

OOIDA’s TRACER website reports two unrelated thefts of a tractor and a trailer in separate incidents in Michigan and Illinois.

A 2006 Kenworth truck was reported stolen on Monday, Oct. 14, from 6075 Auburn Road in Shelby, Mich. The truck is a champagne T-600 model, with “Unity Transportation LLC Frazier, MI” and “#0227” on the hood. TRACER lists a Michigan license plate of RA70770 and a VIN number of 1XKADB9X26J110821 for the truck.
 
A 1996 Stoughton dry van trailer was also reported stolen on Oct. 14 from a garage in South Holland, Ill. The trailer is white. TRACER lists an Illinois license plate of 456698ST and a VIN number of 1DW1A5322VS072416 for the trailer.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of these items. Call 202-246-2698.

TRACER, the Transportation Alert Communication and Emergency Response program, was launched in 2009 by OOIDA. The program is a two-way communication system that sends alerts to members and coordinates information received from trucking members.
