Authorities said they do not suspect foul play in the death of a trucker whose body was found at a Tennessee truck stop.
According to a report filed by the Knox County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Department, Marty Weller’s body was found on the floor in the cab of his Freightliner truck on Sept. 18 at a Knoxville truck stop. The report states that emergency responders had to force entry into Weller’s locked cab,.
The report also notes that he suffered from medical problems including diabetes and high blood pressure. An autopsy conducted by the Knox County Medical Examiner is pending. Authorities with the sheriff’s department did not have any additional information in the case as of Thursday morning.
