The nation’s most emissions restrictive state is offering classes to help truck owners comply with its regulations.
The California Air Resources Board is offering multiple classes and online webinars in August and September. The class, Course 520, will discuss how to comply with California diesel regulations, including reviews of the inspection process and consequences of non-compliance. The course is offered to truck owners, operators, brokers, dispatchers and fleet managers.
The first webinar began Tuesday, and also runs from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 and Thursday, Aug. 8.
The next available Course 520 will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 13 in Davis, Calif. The course is also taught in San Jose 1-4:30 p.m. Aug. 20; in San Leandro 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; again online in webinar form 1-4 p.m. Aug. 27; and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Lompoc, as well as Marysville 1-4 p.m. Aug. 29.
In September, the course will be held both from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in San Diego. The last scheduled course in September is slated for 1-4 p.m. Sept. 26 in Chula Vista.
