TRACER ALERT: Stolen trailer full of diced pears sought in Georgia

OOIDA’s TRACER website reports the theft of a trailer containing 952 cases of diced pears from a street in Georgia.

The 2004 Commucar van trailer was reported stolen on June 10 from an unspecified location on Overmeyer Way in Forest Park, Ga. The trailer is white, and is believed to have been taken between the evening of June 7 and the morning of June 10. TRACER lists a Georgia license plate of TL0GP92 and a VIN number of 1JJV532W04M868909 for the trailer.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of this item. Call 202-246-2698.

TRACER, the Transportation Alert Communication and Emergency Response program, was launched in 2009 by OOIDA. The program is a two-way communication system that sends alerts to members and coordinates information received from trucking members.
