At least six dead and more missing as tornado terrorizes Texas

In Granbury, TX, south of Fort Worth, seven people were still unaccounted for on Thursday, May 16, after a deadly tornado struck on the outskirts of town Wednesday night. At least six people were killed and dozens injured.

More than two dozen OOIDA members list their address as Granbury. Those the “Land Line Now” radio show staff talked to today said they experienced heavy rain and large hail last night, but that the tornado missed them by several miles.

OOIDA Member Roger Horton was on the road and learned from his wife, Cindy, that everything was OK in their neighborhood. OOIDA Life Member Donna Moran of Granbury told us her two kids were heading down to the area that was hit by the tornado to volunteer to help in any way they could.
