A partnership between Pilot Flying J and Urgent Care Travel could result in up to 100 urgent care sites at Pilot Flying J travel centers within the next three years, the companies announced on Wednesday, May 8.

Urgent Care Travel (UCT) opened its first urgent care location on May 1 at the Pilot Travel Center on Strawberry Plains Pike in Knoxville, Tenn. The opening of the Knoxville location marks the launch of the company’s plans with Pilot Flying J to open as many as 100 urgent care sites at select travel center and travel plaza locations nationwide.

The next site will open in Oklahoma City on June 5, 2013. UCT expects to open at least five more locations in 2013 with steady openings to follow, leading to the complete rollout of the first 100 sites by the end of 2016.

Bob Perry, founder of Rolling Strong, will function as the Chief Development Officer for UCT.  The release stated that the goal is to bring quality health and medical care to professional drivers on the road.
