The average price for diesel exhaust fluid at the pump in the United States and Canada held steady in January 2013, according to a press release from DEF Tracker.
U.S. prices remained at $2.79 per gallon. In Canada, DEF held steady at 80 cents per liter ($3.01 per gallon U.S.). The price in both countries has remained unchanged since November 2012.
Nearly 900 truck stops in the U.S. now offer DEF at the pump, while 13 truck stops in Canada offer it pump-side, DEF Tracker says.
DEF Tracker publishes monthly market pricing for truckload and less-than-truckload bulk deliveries, tote refills and 2.5-gallon jugs, as well as DEF pump prices in every U.S. state and Canadian province offering the product.
