Higher tolls on bridges over Hudson River hit truckers hard

| Tuesday, December 04, 2012

The tolls on bridges over the Hudson River in New York City went up on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The toll for a 5-axle truck rose 14-percent from $65 to $75. The toll is 60 percent higher now than it was five years ago.

AAA says the tolls are unreasonable and has sued the Port Authority, which operates the bridges.
