The average pump price for diesel exhaust fluid rose 4 cents in October to $2.80 per gallon, reported DEF Tracker. This is the second-highest price in the past 12 months, behind June at $2.88 per gallon. Canadian pump prices remained steady.
DEF Tracker reports 77 additional truck stop locations offering bulk DEF dispensing facilities in the last 30 days.
“Reductions in raw material costs and moves by distributors to capture market share have caused Diesel Exhaust Fluid prices to decrease in tote refill, and FTL and LTL bulk delivery modes during October,” reported Christopher Goodfellow, North American Emissions Analyst at Integer Research, publisher of DEF Tracker.
DEF Tracker is a monthly subscription service giving DEF price references for full truck load and less than full truck load bulk deliveries, tote refills and packaged products, and pump prices in every U.S. state and Canadian province offering the facility.
